If you look closely, you can see the round hole it has left in the sky, framed by the branches of the trees.

Most of my landscape collages are raw-edge machine applique, layered under tulle. Many have moons or suns made from recycled foil from florists, yogurt lids, tinsel or the wrappers from gold chocolate coins!
